Elijah's soccer team are the GREEN GECKOS! (could you hear the radio voice and echo, echo, echo, echo?)
Alas, four team members were there last night. It made it kind of tough to rotate three on three for two 14 minute halves. So, the Red Unicorns did awesome! Those three and four year olds had fun, worked together, showed off some skills, and ....gutted my baby's team.
The good news is the Geckos had fun. Their skills are improving, their learning some basic principles of team work, and best of all....they got hot chocolate!
Oh yeah, Elijah scored two goals too...
