Today is day four of Elijah's summer camp. Day three was a "real winner." Every Wednesday the bambinos go swimming at the local rec center. If you remotely know anything about my child, he's a water lover! So, again, yesterday he had an awesome day at camp.
Day four, in contrast to day two documented in my entry, "The Milestone..." boo hoo. Today one of the guides, Ms. Michelle had to hold Elijah, with a bit of force, as I left and he cried.
It was terrible. Note to selfish self: it is always better to have a confident, happy, secure little one wave goodbye with no hugs or kisses versus a sad, tired, hurt child cry as someone restrains them from holding on to you.
